Mission Statement

The Finance Department is committed to supporting the citizens of Palmer, the City Council and the City management team, by ensuring proper controls and procedures are in place to manage and protect the public’s resources. Its main function is to properly budget, account for and report promptly on all revenues and expenditures for the City of Palmer. The Finance Department is dedicated in meeting the needs of those we serve and reflecting positively on the City of Palmer.

MEA and Enstar Utility Relief

Palmer is working with MEA and Enstar to provide additional CARES funding programs to assist residents of the City of Palmer financially impacted by the COVID-19 Public Health Emergency.

On November 10, 2020 the Palmer City Council approved Round III of the CARES Grant Programs for small businesses and Non-Profit organizations.
