Continuing a 30+ year legacy, the Alaska State Fair Parade will again take to the streets of downtown Palmer on Saturday, August 24th, starting at 11 am. Download an entry packet here . Deadline to to enter is 5pm, August 22nd.
The Public Works Department will be doing water flow testing of the city hydrants, which started April 15th.
You may experience some discoloration in your water, which is normal.

The city of Palmer is holding our Regular Election on October 1, 2019. For more information, check out the election page at https://www.palmerak.org/election-information or call the Clerk's Office at 761-1301.
Recreational and Open burning require a permit and an on-site inspection by the Fire Dept. Applications are available in the Fire Dept. office at 645 E Cope Industrial Way or at https://www.palmerak.org/city-palmer-burn-permits.
