Effective January 1, 2025, City of Palmer water and wastewater services rates were increased (detailed below). The Palmer City Council adopted these new rates in November as part of the 2025 City budget process. Periodic rate increases are needed to provide adequate funds to operate and maintain our utility systems, to maintain sufficient reserves, and to pay for capital improvements. This notice contains information on those rate increases.
You will see the rate increases on the March 15, 2025, bill with the service period of 1/1/2025 – 2/1/2025.
Water and Wastewater Service
- A 6% water service rate increase
- A 6% wastewater service rate increase
Solid Waste Service
- A 4% solid waste service rate increase
New Rates for Non-Metered Wastewater Services
- 4” service - $ 57.35/month
- 6” service - $ 83.70/month
