As of April 11, 2017, the City of Palmer began enforcing the following codes:

• 1997 Uniform Administrative Code
• 1997 Uniform Code for the Abatement of Dangerous Buildings
• 2015 International Building Code
• 2015 International Existing Building Code
• 2015 International Residential Code
• 2015 International Mechanical Code
• 2014 National Electrical Code
• 2015 Uniform Plumbing Code
• 2015 International Fuel Gas Code
• 2015 International Fire Code
• 2015 International Energy Conservation Code (including BEES amendments adopted by the State of Alaska)
