Deck

The City of Palmer encourages the beautification and utilization of your property in compliance with Palmer Municipal Code (PMC).

To build a deck inside city limits:

• Submit a Building Permit Application with supporting documentation (site plan, layout, material, etc.) in person or EMAIL it.
• After approval, call for inspections prior to pouring foundations and decking the deck frame.

• Review PMC Title 15 for any applicable code adaption differing from the adopted International Residential Code.
