Officer Anthony Robertiello was born in Fairbanks and grew up in Anchorage. After graduating high school Officer Robertiello traveled the United States, Canada, and Mexico. He crisscrossed North America until finally settling down in Tennessee.

Officer Robertiello began his public service career in Tennessee, working as an EMT with an emergency 911 ambulance service. Transitioning to law enforcement in 2007, he graduated from the Tennessee Law Enforcement Training Academy in Nashville and became a police officer with an agency in West Tennessee. There he served in various roles which included narcotics investigations, special operations, FTO and the promotion to patrol sergeant.

In 2013 Officer Robertiello completed his bachelor’s degree in criminal justice. He and his family moved back to Alaska where he worked for the Department of Corrections as a Probation Officer. He returned to law enforcement in 2014 when he became a patrol officer with the University of Alaska Anchorage Police Department. In 2015 he completed the Alaska Police Standards Council Police Recertification Academy in Sitka and received his advanced police certification.

While with the UAA Police Department, Officer Robertiello became an instructor in various subject matters such as Use of Force, Taser, Defensive Tactics, De-Escalation Tactics, and Response to Active Shooter. Officer Robertiello also served as an FTO and ended his career with the UAA Police Department as a patrol sergeant.

In 2022 Officer Robertiello came to the Palmer Police Department. He is looking forward to bringing the skills and experience he has learned to the Palmer Police Department and the community of Palmer, AK.
