Virginia Calvert

Officer Virginia Calvert was born in Corvallis, Oregon and raised in Eagle River, Alaska, where she attended Chugiak High school.  She was a Public Safety Dispatcher for the City of Cordova, Alaska and the City of Palmer, Alaska. Officer Calvert was hired as a patrol officer in 2017 and attended the UAF Community Technical College Law Enforcement Academy. She is a certified Crisis Negotiator and a Field Training Officer.  Officer Calvert is currently assigned as the School Resource Officer at Colony High and Middle School.
